Exploring London International airport

Heathrow is widely known as being the largest London International
airport. In fact, not only this but it is the third largest airport in
the world. Thousands of people land and take off from Heathrow every
single day of the week. It provides easy access into the city of London
and also to domestic flights to all the major cities in the UK.

At present, the ever popular London International airport has four major
international terminals. It is currently in the process of building its
fifth terminal which is due for completion within just a couple of years.
London has a great transport system and connects to the airport via the
underground railway system. This enables you to travel from the airport
to the centre of the city in a very short period of time, a lot quicker
than travelling by road. In fact the London Underground system covers
almost all the individual towns within the city, so where ever you need to
go you can get their via this system. It is also very reasonably priced
and one of the quickest ways to get around the very busy city of London.

Gatwick is another popular London International airport but is not quite
as big as Heathrow. It is a little further out of the city than Heathrow
and takes longer to travel there. Heathrow airport is very modern in
design and contains all the latest technology you will need whilst on your
journey. It has a wide selection of hotels very nearby that means you
won't have far to go when you land in London from whichever country you
set off. This is very handy especially if you've been on a long flight
from America or Australia for instance. The airport has its own web site
where you can find out more information. You can also get details on the
latest flights and offers that are available from the various airlines
that operate from the airport.
